2. Information We Collect

Account information: Name, email address, and password when you register.

Uploaded financial data: CSV files you upload to generate narrative reports. These files may contain financial data belonging to your clients.

Generated reports: The narrative text produced by the AI, associated with your account and client names you provide.

Billing information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or banking details.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns — collected to improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate financial narratives using your uploaded CSV data
• To maintain and improve the Service
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, trial reminders, billing receipts)
• To respond to support requests
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not use your uploaded financial data to train, fine-tune, or evaluate AI models. Your client data is processed only to generate the report you requested.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data with the following categories of service providers under strict data processing agreements:

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
• Stripe — Payment processing
• AI model providers — For narrative generation only; no data is retained by model providers for training
• Google Drive — Only if you explicitly connect and export to Drive

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We use row-level security in our database so each user can only access their own data. Uploaded CSV files are processed in memory and not stored on disk beyond the scope of generating your report.

We conduct regular security reviews and monitor for unauthorized access. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and generated reports as long as your account is active. Uploaded CSV files are deleted within 24 hours of processing.

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings. Upon deletion, your personal data and generated reports are removed within 30 days, except where required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability (export your report history)

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required to operate the Service (session management, authentication). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use third-party tracking pixels or behavioral advertising.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided data, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
